Goodbye homework blog!

This is my last blog post, we have 3 weeks to go in Academic studies and I have 2 assignments left and a human bio test. So far I have got A+'s in everything! I am waiting to see what mark we got from our group presentation, hopefully my group will know by next week. So it's been a great past few months, I have learned alot and have enjoyed Accademic studies, I think the best thing for me as well as learning about the human body, writing essays etc, is learning how to manage my time and really knuckle down and study, I think that is what will be the most helpful for me when I am doing my nursing degree!.... so bye bye blog, untill next time...

Presentation

Yesterday our group presented our 'Group presentation'. The title was 'The effects of Alcohol on me my family and my community'. We were all a bit nervous and we were the second to last group to present so it was hard not to compare our presentation with everyone elses! But we got there in the end! I think it went really well, I find public speaking really nerve racking but I am super happy with how I did and how our group did. I have no idea what mark we will get but I think for me personally the main thing was to just speak without totally freaking out! I'm really glad its behind us and we can all move forward. Only about 4 weeks to go I think! :) YAY!

Wow I can't beleive I got another A+!!! Human bio went really well I was so nervous about it but I got through it after much study!!!! YAY! We have also got together as a group and have pretty much finished our group assignment when is great, we will present it to the class next week...

Study...

I can't wait to get this next Human Bio test out of the way, I am finding it really hard! Just want to get it over with! We have been having some great planing and brainstorming sessions as a group for our group presentation. SO today we are working on that. We have split it into 4 parts so we each have a part to go away and sort out. I am doing the introduction, the game and I will be summarising the whole presentation at the end. :)

Also...

Also this week got our Research focus plan results back and I got 30 out of 30, very happy with that, another interesting thing we did was yesterday in academic skills we had to have a debate!!! We got into groups, and I was with people I don't normally work with but it was great working with new people, we had to debate about student loans, my group was FOR FREE education... very interesting experience but debating is definitely not my thing!

Back to school...

First week back at school! It's been a funny week, on Monday we got to school and then got sent home! Yesterday we had a short meeting for our group assigment and penciled out what we are going to do. Today we got to class and we are able to work on our group work assigment all morning so I am happy about that! :)

holidays... TAKE TWO

Today is Monday - week 2 of the holidays and I am up and ready to start my week of study! Today I am starting on my Statistics Portfolio Task, where I have to collect different data and illustrate the data using different graphs in Excel.

Oh I got another A + on my 2nd Human Bio test! Woohoo! :)

Soooo week one of the holidays has flown by!!! I told myself that week 1 would be my relax and rest week - and it has been... so my last day of rest is tomorrow!!! (very biblical being a Sunday!) Week two of the holidays will consist of, human bio study, Stats assignment, and applying for Nursing!!! :)

I am happy to say that I have finished all the work that was due before term. And handed it  in all on time. Annotated Bibliography - DONE. Copyright assignment - DONE. Reasearch focus - DONE. So I can now enjoy my holidays without to much stress, apart from the forever consuming Human Bio studies.... :)

HUMAN BIO RULES ME

Sooooo had my 2nd human bio test today, it has been consuming my mind!! It's the best feeling after you have finished a test and you know you have at least one afternoon free from thinking about study!!! So after Tech today I did some baking! :) Until tomorrow Unit 3 Human Bio study begins again...

Today was a very productive day, our Stats teacher was sick so we took advantage of the time and our group got together and did our focus plan for our research that is due in next week. I'm really pleased with the group that I am in, we are all hardworking and make sure we do everything together and share the load with each other, so thanks girls! It feels good to have that almost finished :)

After having Monday off because of really heavy rain I ended up spending most of the day studying. On Tuesday we learnt about APA referencing and I set some goals with my teacher which we are going to review at the end of the course. Then home again for more study! Today we got our Copyright Assignment so I have lots to do! I'm looking forward to the holidays :) 3 weeks to go...!

Today is raining, and apparently flooding, so there is no tech today... so I guess that mean more study at home. ho hum.

day 2

Okey I got my human bio results back today and I got an A+ !!!! I am so stoked!!!!! Unit 2 is proving to be a bit harder, I really don't think I can live up to my first test. I will try my best though :)

I have a love hate relationship with Human Bio. Loved Unit 1. Hate Unit 2!!! My brain really hurts.

Procrastination = enemy. Just starting study now, about 4 hours later than planned!

So I have had a fun morning at Tech today, I have always wanted to start a blog and now I have to do one as part of my Academic studies so it looks like I don't have a choice!

So.. current homework duties include:

4 More tests to go for Human Bio (getting results back of our first test tomorrow!)
Am I forgetting anything fellow students?
After writing this I feel even better about handing in my Ethics Assignment this-morning!  Its so good to get things done!!!

Okey so plans for the rest on the day? - STUDY FOR HUMAN BIO! *sigh*
